【概要】
Robert Stagg and Jessica Chiba will head a discussion about Shakespeare in non-Anglophone cultures with a focus on the "worldly" nature of Shakespeare's style and the un-traslatability of his works. Specific topics will include Korean translations of Shakespeare, Japanese translations of Shakespeare's wordplay, Ninagawa's adaptations of Shakespeare, and the Iranian film adaptation of Hamlet, Doubt (2009).
